Grey Gletscher

Ice Sculptures – Blue Art

Where the Grey Glacier falls into Lago Grey mother nature constantly creates and reshapes sculptures of ice shining in all shades of blue becoming one with the blue sky and the turquoise water of the lake.

Why glacier ice is blue I detailed in my post “Magic Blue” about glaciers in Iceland.

Most of the shots have been taken with a lens of 300 mm (full format) during an incredibly interesting and fascinating cruise on Lago Grey.

“STRUCTURES & SHAPES created by nature” at its best!
