On the occasion of today’s Wold Photography day I’m more than thrilled to share my completely refreshed website! Since I launched it in 2016 and over 100 published posts and more than 800 shared photos later this is now the desparately needed 2nd refresh. Enjoy the beauty of structures and shapres created by nature! This year’s theme is “My favorite photo”. No easy choice! Take a look what I chose:
In context of the 9 year existence of my website I chose a picture fom the beginning, from November 2016. The Palpuogna lake is close to the Albula pass road in the eastern part of Switzerland. It is slightly hidden below the road so there is the chance to just pass by without stopping. What a miss! Only around noon a bit of sunlight illuminates a few trees before shadow takes the lead again and the beautiful colors will be gone including the organge of the swiss stone pines which you can only see in autumn. Soon the lake will freeze and any refelections will be gone until spring. I planned to be there in time and thankfully there was no wind!
