Now that my website is live for almost 3 years, 46 Posts published and around 300 photos shared I thought it’s time for a layout refresh. Aside form a more modern look, the new theme offers a few new features: The “Portfolio” button gets you right to the Portfolio overview and the side bars (for desktop and iPad) offer direct links to certain posts and topics. What I also like is that by scrolling down the Post page older posts will load without having to klick anywhere.
Each Post comes with a tagline, one header photo and a few lines of text. More text and photos you can find via the “read more” link. This makes the Posts cleaner and easier to navigate.
Also new is the featured content right below the header image. Here you can find latest news as well as my personal “best of” galleries.
