Lej da Staz (Lake Staz) is one of my top photography spots in Switzerland. Not even challenging to get there – just a 30 min. walk from St. Moritz – this little lake is again and again worth checking out.
This autumn it was particularly nice as it had some snow early on turning Piz Albana and Piz Julier already in bright white. Early morning there is often no wind keeping the lake surface calm. The rising sun turns all the Swiss Stone Pines into shining gold.
