On the occasion of today’s Swiss national holiday I once again like to post a shot from a special place in Switzerland. This year I chose the Val Frisal.
The Val Frisal is a high plateau at 1’900 m a.s.l. located in the most western part of the canton Grisons. The area is called Surselva. The valley is roughly 3 km long and marks the end of the Frisal Glacier. From Brigels it’s a 5.5 km hike up to the viewpoint.
