This year I selected a shot from Lake Staz, a mountain lake located in the Swiss canton Grisons. On a cold morning in late autumn when the water of the lake was still warmer than the outside temperature making the lake steam while all the trees and bushes around were already frozen and the first snow had fallen, I experienced this scenery as a very peaceful moment.
So I thought this picture would be a nice choice for this year’s “happy holiday shot” as it may help to relax while enjoying the beauty of nature!
